
Applications Now Open for the Sports Human Rights Capacity-Building Program (Cohort 1)
To support those who work tirelessly on the front lines to protect human rights in sport, the SHRI is pleased to launch the Sports Human Rights Capacity-Building Program.
Through this program, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics of the sports ecosystem, acquire the knowledge and practical skills needed for victim support, administrative assistance, and investigations, and learn how to apply these skills to real-world cases. The program also provides an excellent opportunity to connect with professionals and peers working in the field of sports and human rights, exchange experiences, and build a supportive network.
We invite everyone interested in strengthening their understanding of sports and human rights and enhancing their practical capacity to respond to human rights issues in the field to join this program.
Dates: Thursdays, 16 April – 7 May 2026 (4 sessions) Time: 7:30–9:00 PM (KST)
Format: Online (live video conference) Each session consists of a 60-minute lecture followed by a 30-minute Q&A.
Registration Fee: KRW 120,000 for all four sessions (Discounts: 40% discount for students and regular supporters of the SHRI, 20% for professionals working in the field of sports and human rights, as well as physical education teachers and sports coaches)
